Bujo August flip through & September plan with me.

Bujo August flip through & September plan with me.

Hi, my bujo August flip through & September plan with me have been so much fun to create! 🙂

Well, it’s been a busy old summer! I’m so grateful to have enjoyed a nice holiday in Genoa and Nice with my family.  It was a busy holiday though, as opposed to a restful one. We got home in the early hours of Saturday morning and school began on the following Tuesday, so it was all go!

My bullet journal for August worked really well. The only thing was, I did take it out of my traveler’s notebook.  Ironic… I know! But my traveler’s notebook has my work inserts in it and it’s big and bulky. Normally I love it as I know I always have everything I need to hand but on my holiday, I just needed my bujo (and some pens) 🙂

I was really pleased with my “Hello August” page. My first attempt at using water colours.

Now, I’m no artist! But I really like how it turned out.

A little bit of washi tape with the Eiffel tower on it, just finished it off nicely 🙂

I was happy with my usual “Staple” pages.

However, one thing I really loved about bullet journaling compared to other planners, was the ability to just take a few pages out to journal about my holiday.

Each night I sat down and wrote about all the marvelous things we had seen, eaten, drank and experienced that day. I also took a note of how many steps I’d done and how many bites I had gained! (I refused to count beyond 30!)

In this page I was journaling about our visit to Pisa.

I used some scrapbooking paper with a travel theme to cover the right hand page.

All I need to do to finish this off now is stick in a nice picture of us in Pisa 🙂

When I got back I was feeling a little overwhelmed with all that I had to do and catch up on, so this was my quote for the week!

Knowing that September is also going to be a very busy month. I decided to plan for a minimalist spread. Using just black & silver pens & some washi tape, this is how my “Hello September” page turned out…

So there we go! All set for another busy month 🙂 I hope that this has been useful to you. I love looking at other peoples designs and inspirational ideas. If you’ve liked any of my pages please feel free to let me know. If you have any suggestions… I’d love to hear them too.

Until next time, improve your health & well being! 🙂
